UP TGT PGT Exam
Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board (UPSESSB), Allahabad, or the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the updated exam schedule for the upcoming UP TGT and PGT exams. As per the new dates, the UP PGT exam will be held on October 15 and 16, 2025, while the UP TGT exam is set for December 18 and 19, 2025.
Both exams will be conducted in offline mode using pen and paper. Candidates will receive their exact exam date and other details through the admit card, which will be made available on the official websites: upessc.up.gov.in and upsessb.pariksha.nic.in.
The UPSESSB is carrying out recruitment for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) under notification 01/2022 and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) under 02/2022. The official recruitment notification for TGT and PGT positions in Uttar Pradesh was published on June 9, 2022.

3. How to Apply for UP TGT Recruitment 2025?
Candidates can apply for the UP Trained Graduate Teacher Exam by filling out the UP TGT Online Form.
The steps to apply are:
Step 1: Visit the Official Website. Visit the UPSESSB Registration Portal.
Step 2: Click on the Apply Button. Click on the Apply Button Against the UP TGT Examination.
Step 3: Enter Details. Enter the required details and complete the registration. You will then receive your Registration Number.
Step 4: Pay Fee. Pay the required application fee.
Step 5: Fill Application Form. Fill out the UP TGT Application Form and upload the required documents. You may use the Testbook Photo Cropping Tool to resize the documents for uploading.
Step 6: Verify Details. Verify the details and submit the application form.

5. UP TGT Selection Process 2025
The UP TGT selection process will be based on two rounds:
Stage 1: Written Test
The written exam is the primary and most important stage of UP TGT 2025 recruitment. Candidates are expected to appear for a written test to be judged on their knowledge and understanding related to the subject for one is applying, along with general aptitude. There are MCQs that cover the syllabus of a respective subject, besides some sections like General Knowledge, General English, and Teaching Aptitude. The written exam would be the process to check not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills to apply for the position of TGT. Proper and concise preparation in advance is required to face the next stages of the selection process.
Stage 2: Document Verification
Candidates then enter the document verification process if they clear the written examination. In case of discrepancies or fraudulent documents, the candidate is disqualified.
